Decorate a 1920's Bedroom

The 20s was an era of complex designs and beautiful bed rooms. Remembering images of 20s bed rooms brings to mind charm and opulently huge furnishings. Designing a bed space with a 20s concept requires a passion for the roaring twenties and some creativeness.

Instructions

1 Get ready the bed space for a concept modification by revamping the surfaces. The 20s was an occasion when decorating bed rooms took a lot of effort to make sure details are highlighted. On the surfaces, connect fleur background with shades that supplement the bed and other furnishings that you will be using. Subsequently, you may also connect a wood made wall clock with complex designs, as this was popular in the 20s.

2 Buy furnishings in the 20s style. Beds should have wide wood made bed headboards and adorned posts on each part of the bed frame. On either part of the bed, add bedroom tables and make preparations them for decoration improvements later. Add a dresser on the other part of the space in black mahogany or wine red shades.

3 Decorate your windows with complex drapes. The 20s was an occasion of detailed and pleated drapes enhancing huge windows. You can reproduce this look by first decorating your screen with a thin light-colored fabric that will serve as the layer lining. Add thick, dark-colored drapery on either part of the screen. Add a braided layer string with sides to hold the layer to the sides.

4 Create a reflection area. The reflection is one of the most important parts of a 20s bed space. A reflection includes a huge reflection on top of a desk with small storage. Makeup, fragrance and hair accessories are shown on top of the reflection desk.

5 Emphasize the space. Hang gilded frames in the space to supplement the black shaded furnishings. Add lights that have golden sides and other kinds of shows such as decorative boxes and book stands made of black shades or gold.
